All new patients will begin with a thorough evaluation, including a review of the individual's personal and family health history as well as a physical and pelvic examination.  It is often necessary for the physician to review medical records and pathology reports from referring physicians prior to the first appointment.

Office Procedures

Colposcopy - Our oncologists are using video colposcopy to screen cervical, vaginal, and vulvar diseases. In addition to being an important diagnostic tool, video colposcopy allows patients to actually see their cervix and have a better understanding of the process of cervical neoplasia.

LEEP - Loop Electrode Excision Procedure is performed in the clinic and facilitates the diagnosis of cervical lesions. For many patients LEEP also provides treatment for pre-invasive cervical conditions.

Surgical Procedures

Cryosurgery - Cryosurgery is a treatment option also performed in the clinic for pre-cancerous cervical conditions. It is used in the treatment of genital warts of the vulva and vagina.
