DescriptionThe Endovascular Preceptorship Program is a three-month mini-fellowship providing hands-on training for physicians in all types of catheter-based interventions for non-cardiac vascular disease. Trainees typically perform over 100 catheter-based interventions as the primary operator, including carotid stenting, viseral angioplasty, lower extremity subintimal angioplasty, abdominal and thoracic aortic stent grafting, thrombolysis and coil embolization. Procedures are performed at both the Cornell and the Columbia campuses.

Description11.5 CME accredited preceptorship course to further advance wound healing education. This course utilizes lectures, manuscripts, and clinical time to detail an integrated set of wound healing procedures, techniques, therapies, and, most importantly, outcomes. It includes eight hours of real-time observation, incorporating question and answer sessions. The 1½ day preceptorship takes place at the Columbia University Wound Center in New York City. It focuses on teaching the practical clinical application of all wound healing principles, including specific protocols unique to the elderly, disabled, and diabetics. The knowledge garnered from this program will both improve individual patient outcomes and help to create a standard of care that will promote the repair and healing of all chronic wounds.
